It seems weird looking at the Villa website on the morning with pictures of Alex McLeish right there in front of me, staring me straight in the face. It seems weird him being labelled Aston Villa manager instead of our arch rivals manager. But the more it becomes real, the more he seems to grow on me.
It could be good, it could be bad, it could be really good, or it could be extremely bad. It could be the greatest thing that's happened to Villa in a long time. I'll be happy just to win the first few games to silence the doubters and the press and I'd also like to see Blues drown in misery in the Championship.
I'd like to see some signings, a good pre-season and a good run in the cups as well as a top-half finish. However, if some so called fans are going to protest and make the club's life hell, I really will be embarrassed. This is our club and as General Krulak said the other day: "When we walk through those gates on a matchday we should be united. As a family"
